Squash Planting
We will be planting out all the summer and winter squash on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th of June. Please come and help! This planting will take place at the greenhouse field. For directions or questions please call Anthony at 654-5751 after 7.00 in the evening.
Barn Clean Up Day
The barn cleanup day will be held on Saturday June 4th. Besides being a way to support the farmers by helping with barn maintenance and a chance to work together, a camera crew from WMUR, NH Chronicle will be coming to interview us. This is a great opportunity to show our support for the L-CHIP program which will be coming up for consideration by the Legislature. We are one of their success stories! It would be great for them to see a busy, friendly group of families, all working and visiting together. Please keep in mind that the cleanup and painting may not be suitable work for very young children, but enthusiastic older children and adults are more than welcome to help. There will be free farm pizza afterwards for all painters- please RSVP to jan@highmowing.org by June 1st so we can be sure to order enough.
Solstice/St Johns Potluck
Solstice/St Johns potluck will be held on Saturday June 18th at 5:00 PM at the Ritchie-Dunhams (540 Abbot Hill RD- go past Pine Hill and the farm and then 1/2 mile further on left, opposite Gage Rd)
