
Cabbage
Cabbage are an excellent source of the two “cleansing mineral”: Chlorine and Sulphur work as a team in expelling waste matter, cleansing of the blood and they also tend to reduce excess weight. A deficiency of Chlorine foods can lead to poor liver functioning and various types of congestion such as sinusitis. Regular use of fresh Cabbage, lightly steamed of finely chopped and added to a salad will be most beneficial for protection from the common cold and virus. Cabbages are also a good source of the minerals: potassium, sodium, phosphorus, silicon and zinc. The outer green leaves of Cabbage are an excellent source of Chlorophyll, the green magic medicine and a unique source of vitamin U, a recently discovered vitamin that has proved to be the best medicine for relief of peptic ulcers. Red Cabbage is also available and that has a similar structure of nutrients, except for the Chlorophyll.
